Hike up the Schillerkopf

Hiking trail

The hiking trail to the Schillerkopf impresses with its versatility. At the beginning, you hike through lush alpine meadows and forests to admire the first sight of the Schillerkopf after the tree line. The Kessiloch natural monument, a collapse crater located on the hiking trail, is also particularly worth seeing. The route then continues towards the summit, which is reached after an easy via ferrata. Here you can’t make up your mind with the many fascinating views of the mountain landscape. On one side you can see the summit of the Mondspitze, while on the other is the Schesaplana. In addition to Brandnertal, the Rhine Valley and Walgau, you can even see as far as Switzerland and across Lake Constance in good weather.
