The Alpinresort Schillerkopf is located on the Tschengla plateau in Bürserberg, Vorarlberg, Austria.
If you are coming from Germany or Switzerland, the easiest way to reach us is via the A14, the Austrian motorway in the Rhine Valley/Vorarlberg. Take the Brandnertal exit and then drive up the mountain road to the Tschengla plateau. From the motorway exit, it takes about 10 minutes to reach the Alpinresort Schillerkopf. The road is regularly cleared and well-maintained in winter, and snow chains are only required in extreme weather conditions.
No motorway vignette is required to reach the Alpinresort Schillerkopf if you take local roads. However, a valid vignette is needed if you use the Austrian motorways.
From Zurich Airport, the resort can be reached in approximately 1¾ to 2 hours by car, while from Altenrhein Airport, it takes about 60 minutes. Enjoy the beautiful Alpine scenery along the way before immersing yourself in the tranquility and nature of our resort.
It is also possible to reach the resort by public transport. You can take the train to Bludenz station. However, buses from Bludenz to Bürserberg/Tschengla run only limited routes and are not very frequent. Train travelers will need to transfer in Bludenz and may face longer waiting times. For a flexible and convenient arrival, we therefore recommend traveling by car.
When is reception open and how does late check-in work?
Reception is open daily from 8:00 to 20:00.
From 20:00 to 22:00 you are welcome to contact our service team at the bar, who will take care of your enquiries at reception or help you further.
Should you arrive later, please let us know. We will then arrange a place to hand over the keys and we will take care of the official check-in the next morning.
Are there vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free dishes? Is the selection sufficient? How are food intolerances taken into account?
You always have a choice of meat, fish or vegetarian dishes on the main menu.
If you have vegan wishes or food intolerances, you can let us know when you make your booking. Our kitchen team will prepare everything accordingly and surprise you with individual delicacies.
What are the meal times at the Schillerkopf?
Breakfast: 7:30 to 10:30 a.m.
Small menu: in the afternoon
Bar: 12:00 – 22:00
Dinner 6-course menu: 18:00 to 21:30
Please arrive for dinner by 19:15 at the latest in order to take part in the full 6-course menu.

Please book appointments for massages, nail or beauty treatments in advance at reception.
ESSENTIALS
Your bathrobe and slippers are already waiting for you in your room. Please do not enter the wellness and hotel area barefoot.
Green bath towels from the bathing bag are for the pool and sunbathing area. Please take them back to your room after use – we will be happy to exchange them.
White towels for the sauna are available in the sauna area. Please put them in the bins provided after use.
Where can I park? Does it cost anything? Can I charge my electric car?
Free parking is available opposite our hotel and behind the hotel (after the car park barrier).
For a surcharge of €10 per night, you can also park your car under our car park deck.
A public e-charging station for electric cars is just a few metres away.
Is there a ski hire / ski service?
Are there ski lessons for children on site?
At the Alpinresort Schillerkopf, ski hire and ski service are available directly at the hotel so that you can hit the slopes fully equipped. For younger guests, the Brandnertal / Bürserberg ski area offers numerous ski courses where children can learn to ski safely and playfully.
You can safely store your ski equipment in our in-house ski room.
Several languages are spoken in our company, especially German and English. Some of our employees also speak Dutch, Spanish and Hungarian.
Unfortunately, we do not allow pets as our hotel is run as a hotel for allergy sufferers.
Vouchers are valid for 1 year.
Smoking is prohibited in the Alpinresort Schillerkopf. Smoking is permitted in front of the hotel, on the hotel balconies and outside on the terraces.
